Original RoboDrive frameless servo motors Designed for demanding applications
RoboDrive technology from TQ has its origins in the Institute for Robotics and
Mechatronics at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). Researchers there developed a new
frameless motor technology – a servo motor with outstanding power density and high
torque coupled with compact size and lightweight construction. These motors also offered
excellent speed stability, dynamic response and thermal connectivity, making them a
pioneering technology ideally suited for use in robotics.
