The radio transceivers from the successful KRT2 series from TQ-Aviation.
As a surveillance radar, the KTX2 transponder code offers the highest possible flight safety for the pilot because it does not only transmit the Squawk and flight level, but also a 24-bit identifier which is uniquely assigned to each aircraft. In addition, the air traffic control unit can specifically interrogate certain transponders and is able to request the altitude information, speed and flight direction. The KTX2 does, hence, contribute significantly to flight safety.

Simple, flexible installation
The KTX2 transponder is available in two versions: The standard version for installation in a 57 mm / 2¼” round cut out and the 160 mm / 6¼” stack version. A housing length of only 146.2 mm for Standard format means that the transponder can even be installed quite easily in cockpits with difficult space restrictions. For mobile use, such as during balloon flights, the KTX2 is also available as a portable station - ideally in combination with a KRT2 radio transceiver.
